Position Overview

The Director for Digital Hub Sales helps create strategies in collaboration with our Global Sales Hubs to surpass the targets set by the WW Digital eCommerce Team regarding billings and subscriptions. Our goals encompass achieving new billings/ACV, acquiring new customers, and enhancing conversion rates across multiple inbound and outbound channels, including phone and chat, and managing lead. You will necessitate gaining profound insights into customer behavior to allow Autodesk to engage customers and convert them into subscribers. Collaborating with sales leadership across AMER, EMEA, and APAC/JPN regions, and with marketing leadership, is crucial for success in this role.

Additionally, overseeing a team responsible for workforce management, inside sales quality metrics, and digital program management is part of the Director's responsibilities. You will report to the Senior Director of the Go-To-Market Team for Digital eCommerce. This is a remote role however, you will travel to team offsite events. Expect 15% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the digital preparedness of sales teams in each region and create strategies to expedite their digital readiness

  • Assess the capability and capacity of global digital sales teams to handle customer interactions initiated online

  • Coordinate with other global programs to ensure agreement, in the implementation of a Digital First Strategy with Chat

  • Establish standards for workforce management practices and quality control measures. Facilitate sales execution across Autodesk's four regions (AMER, EMEA, APAC, Japan), collaborating with Inside Sales Teams, Digital Acquisition Teams, Retention Teams, Analytic Teams, and Finance Partners

  • Develop sales plays tailored for regional needs and geared toward attracting new customers, increasing the average order value, and expanding the digital customer base

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making within the business

  • Report on regional progress towards our targets, offering local insights

  • Forecast quarterly and annual achievement of targets, refining forecasting processes to provide meaningful insights

  • Engage with marketing resources to assess customer and local market conditions, serving as an advocate for our digital sales in all interactions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree

  • 10 years of experience in inside sales or sales operations, with a focus on digital sales or eCommerce

  • Solid experience managing global teams and in working with complex, matrixed organizations

  • Track record in improving sales performance and meeting targets

  • Align sales strategies with our goals

  • Experience mentoring a diverse team

  • Proficiency in using sales and customer management software and CRM systems

  • A background in making data-driven decisions

  • Understanding of the software industry and digital sales processes

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $213,500 and $345,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
