Position Overview

Are you passionate about managing an engaging, helpful, and attractive Autodesk Web and Digital Experience Platform that drives conversion through increased traffic, optimized SEO strategies, and sustainable growth projects while prioritizing Core Web Vitals and web performance? Autodesk's Digital Customer Lifecycle Engineering team is looking for an experienced engineering manager who can lead a team of full-stack engineers to enhance our platform's capabilities in these important areas. As the manager, you will oversee a team of AEM/React full-stack engineers tasked with adding exciting features that directly help Autodesk's customer product discovery experience. Our team tackles unique challenges to help customers navigate, discover software, and receive the support they need. You will help create new tools, implementing important services, enhancing end-user experiences, and optimizing processes to ensure that Autodesk's eCommerce platform remains the premier destination for purchasing. You will have experience leading teams in developing Content Management Systems with a focus on content-as-a-service, applying modern cloud services in an agile environment. You should excel at building and guiding teams, inspiring them to remain at the forefront of the fastest-growing technology stack on Earth .You will report to director and its a hybrid work mode.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Guide conversion rates through increased traffic, optimized SEO strategies, and sustainable growth initiatives, with a focus on Core Web Vitals and web performance.

• You will lead, manage, and mentor a team of AEM/full-stack engineers, encouraging and thought leadership culture.

• Provide insight, feedback, and recommendations to senior management on software project development, capabilities, and potential.

• Identify efficiency opportunities through automation, engineering, and process optimization to enhance platform performance, including web performance optimization techniques.

• Collaborate with architects, technical leads, product owners, and other team members to align efforts and achieve a common vision.

• Uphold high software engineering standards, including efficiency, quality, security, resiliency, and best practices.

• Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for multiple applications, prioritizing Core Web Vitals and web performance.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects, ensuring alignment with our goals.

• Recruit, manage a professional staff of engineers, promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams and team members to improve.

• Advocate empathetically for students of architecture, design, engineering, animation, and other future professionals worldwide to deliver exceptional user experiences for our future customers.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or related field preferred).

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience, including 6+ years of hands-on technical leadership and 3+ years of people management experience.

• Demonstrated experience driving conversion rates and implementing growth strategies in a digital environment, with expertise in Core Web Vitals and web performance optimization.

• Knowledge of cloud computing stacks at the SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS layers.

• Advanced proficiency with public cloud service platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Hands-on experience with important technologies such as AEM/Contentful, Java, Node.js, React, and CI/CD technologies.

• Experience with scrum and Agile development processes and methodologies.

• Experience managing, resolving complex and ambiguous issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior industry experience building SaaS platforms with a focus on driving conversion and optimizing Core Web Vitals and web performance.

• Familiarity and experience with Adobe AEM (CQ) and related technologies.

• Production experience with React.

• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, npm, NoSQL, DynamoDB.

• Familiarity with responsive web design principles.

• Demonstrate experience with mentoring and teaching, with a vision for leadership.

• Excel at spotting and attracting top talent in the industry. #LI-AK1
