Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with extensive expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to join our innovative team. As a key member of our IT department, you will lead the integration and application development efforts within SAP BTP, leveraging your deep understanding of Cloud Foundry and other platform services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP BTP solutions, with a focus on integration and application development.

  • Utilize your expertise in SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and available platform services to architect scalable and robust solutions.

  • Establish connections between SAP BTP and S/4HANA using Cloud Connector, ensuring seamless integration between systems.

  • Develop applications on Cloud platforms such as Cloud Foundry, employing programming languages and techniques such as JAVA, NodeJS, Python, or C++.

  • Design and implement microservices architecture to enhance scalability and flexibility of solutions.

  • Extend solutions with additional SAP BTP capabilities for mobile, offline, and integration scenarios.

  • Manage API lifecycle using SAP BTP API management, including API specification development and publishing via developer portals.

  • Build scalable web applications and cloud services using cutting-edge web technologies such as REST, OData, jQuery, and server-side JS.

  • Apply knowledge of SAP systems functionality and SAP Fiori UX principles to enhance user experience.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and requirements.

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in SAP BTP, continuously enhancing our technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on SAP BTP integration and application development.

  • Expertise in SAP BTP Business Technology Platform Integration and Application Development Suite services.

  • Proficiency in SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and familiarity with available platform services.

  • Strong programming experience in Cloud platforms such as Cloud Foundry, utilizing languages like JAVA, NodeJS, Python, or C++.

  • Hands-on experience with In-App extension techniques and API management within SAP BTP.

  • Knowledge of SAP systems functionality, SAP Fiori UX principles, and CAPM (using NodeJS) is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with Spring, Git and GitHub, abapGit, Jenkins, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, ODATA, SAP HANA, HTML5/REST.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
