Position Overview:

As a Workday Integration Specialist with Payroll Configuration Experience, you will play a crucial role in our HR systems team, supporting the integration and configuration of Workday modules, particularly focusing on payroll. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience to expand their expertise in Workday while contributing to the optimization of our HR processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design Workday integrations tailored to the organization's needs.

  • Assist in the configuration and implementation of Workday Payroll modules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other internal/external systems, utilizing Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and other tools as needed.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly, working closely with stakeholders and vendors to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

  • Conduct regular testing of integrations to ensure data integrity and system reliability, performing necessary adjustments and enhancements as required.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on Workday functionalities, including payroll-related processes and configurations.

  • Stay updated on Workday releases and industry best practices, proactively recommending enhancements and optimizations to streamline HR operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) with a focus on integration development and/or configuration, preferably in a payroll context.

  • Strong understanding of Workday data model, business processes, and security concepts.

  • Proficiency in Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.

  • Experience with payroll configuration in Workday, including but not limited to payroll calculation rules, earnings/deductions, tax setups, and payroll reporting.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday certification(s) in Integration or Payroll.

  • Experience working with Workday Extend is a huge plus.

  • Knowledge of HR and payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript.
