Position Overview

As an Enablement Specialist, you will focus on tools and on processes for our Go-To-Market teams, you will help equip our sales team with the resources they need to succeed. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our sales tools, sales systems, and sales processes are optimized for efficiency and for effectiveness. Just as importantly, you will ensure that the tools, the systems, and the processes are used by Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success – so you will create video training, workshops, and exercises. You will collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the sales enablement ecosystem. We are at the center of Autodesk's Emerging Businesses team, which has been defined as the growth engine for Autodesk based on recent comments from Leadership. You will report to the Senior Manager, Sales Enablement.

This is a remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain working knowledge in the tools, the systems, and the processes utilized by the Go-To-Market teams, including CRM platforms, sales automation software, and communication tools to create learning content that can be put into simplified curricula

  • Collaborate with teams to identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing tools and existing processes, and develop strategies for improvement

  • Design training programs and materials to educate Go-To-Market team members on the use of tools and processes to enhance productivity and enhance performance

  • Provide ongoing support to Sales team members, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering best practices for utilizing tools and systems

  • Analyze data and analyze metrics related to tool and system usage, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization, and making recommendations for enhancements

  • Partner with Sales Operations Services, Sales Excellence, Sales Execution, Data, and IT teams to implement new tools and systems, ensuring seamless integration and understanding of business objectives

  • Be the liaison between Sales, Project Management, and other relevant departments to gather feedback and requirements for tool and system enhancements

  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in sales enablement technology, seeking opportunities to improve the Sales team's capabilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in, program management, sales, and channel development, talent development, or learning/training

  • 3+ years of experience developing, experience implementing, and experience managing enablement or training programs for sales, customer success, or technical staff (including channel partners)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Outreach, Gong or other sales automation tools

  • Experience with video editing software to create, to edit and to publish training courses

  • Some travel required, approximately once per quarter on average

  • You are someone that does not mind speaking up, but also works very well with stakeholders

  • You "get" sales - You have either been in sales or have worked alongside sales professionals for enough years to understand the fast-paced and demanding world that your onboarding experiences will have to accommodate

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $111,400 and $180,290. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
