Senior Finance Business Partner, Japan Territory Sales

Position Overview

We are looking for a trusted finance business partner to join Autodesk s Sales Finance team at Autodesk. This position reports directly to the APAC&Japan Finance Director of Sales Finance, but is the primary business partner to the VP of our Japan territory sales team. The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high level strategy and day-to-day financial details. This candidate must effectively partner with business leaders, yet still adhere to his/her fiduciary duties as a member of the finance organization.

Responsibilities

• Partnering directly with the VP, Japan territory sales as a member of his line management staff

• Providing the Japan territory sales team weekly billings and ACV forecast

• Assist process and tool for Japan midmarket team s pipeline analysis and management

• Supporting India Channel Partner programs and creating partner targets

• Providing financial advice related to the Japan territory sales territory design, and creating quotas and KSO for the Japan territory sales team

• Approving all deal discounts related to the sales resources

• Managing the Opex budget (headcount and variable) for the Japan territory sales team

• Assist in Commission analysis on commission costs forecasting

• Building Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Quarterly Business Planning (QBPs)

• Present EOQ finance deck to review performance and metrics

• Forecast accuracy tracking

• Providing the Japan territory sales team KPIs and metrics and collaborating with WW Finance Business Partners and Sales Leads for consistency

• Playing the key role for compliance and fiduciary

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance preferred; MBA or CPA a plus

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with finance or business analysis background

• Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company is a plus

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Hands on experience with financial software (e.g. Business Objects, Qlikview, SAP BPC, Hyperion etc)

• Articulate and concise with strong communication skills

• Ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines

• Ambitious and ability to learn quickly

• Strong team player and leadership potential
